Mid City Shooting

An argument over loud music led to an officer-involved shooting in Mid City, Los Angeles, early Tuesday morning. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the situation unfolded around 6:40 a.m. on Alsace Avenue, when a suspect, sitting inside his car, allegedly pointed a gun at a person who asked him to lower his music volume.

Upon the arrival of officers at the scene, the confrontation escalated, and gunfire was exchanged. It remains unclear who fired the shots, and authorities have not confirmed whether anyone was injured in the incident.

During the investigation, AIR7 captured footage from above, showing a handgun lying on the ground at the scene. Police have not yet provided further details, and the investigation is ongoing.
