Jesse Brock Missing Found Dead, Lawrence County, Indiana

The search for a missing person in Lawrence County, Indiana, ended in tragedy Tuesday morning after authorities located a vehicle submerged in floodwaters.

According to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Jesse Brock of Leesville had been reported missing on Sunday after last being seen Saturday night in Paoli while traveling toward his home. Location data later indicated that Brock’s phone had last registered near Earl Road and Lawrenceport Road around 10 p.m., an area that had been heavily impacted by flooding.

Over the next two days, an extensive search effort was launched involving deputies from the sheriff’s office, Indiana Conservation Officers, and the Indiana State Police. Search teams utilized boats, sonar equipment, drones, and helicopters as they combed through flood-affected areas in an attempt to locate Brock and the vehicle he had been traveling in.

On March 10, conservation officers discovered the pickup truck submerged in floodwaters near the last known location. Authorities confirmed that both Kasee Allman and Jesse Brock were found inside the vehicle.

Officials say family members have been notified of the discovery. The incident is now being investigated as a death investigation led by Indiana Conservation Officers, with assistance from the Indiana State Police.
